Ashwater Church - past and present

Ashwater Parish Church has been a continuous presence in the lives of the inhabitants of the Parish since early medieval times. However much of the day to day involvement of the Church in people's lives has gone unrecorded and slipped away from us. We would like to try to make things different for future generations by building an archive of memories, recollections documents and photos which can be made available as a permanent record and a testament to the continued involvement of the Church in our lives over the decades.

We would love to hear from current and former residents of Ashwater Parish. Perhaps you have some particular memories you would like to share? If you have any old photos or records of the Church, perhaps from weddings or christenings, please share them with us and help us make a start on this project.
